Its not just ‘posh’ Michelin-Star restaurants serving some of the best food around. Specialist food served from vans, trucks, trikes and YURTS at Britain’s markets and music festivals is equally exciting!
The Oxford Yurt Company made its debut as a ‘pop-up’ restaurant at the Alex James Harvest Festival last year and will be appearing at a number of others throughout 2012. Diners will have the chance to experience the unique setting the yurt provides as well as indulging in its gastronomic delights.
Sarah Lay, a qualified Nutritionist and passionate cook, provides generous feasts of gutsy flavours for lunch and dinner, with the breakfasts being particularly popular as festival goers can start the day within the cosy confines of the yurt enjoying our legendary griddle pan waffles and thick hot chocolate, a ‘proper’ coffee or a fresh mint tea whilst unwinding with the morning papers.
