I love my food, love the finer details that people stamp on a place to make it their own. That’s why I am so pleased that Sally and Mark have moved into manage The King and Queen at Longcot, less than a mile’s walk from our site. Mark is the instinctive chef who cooks using local and seasonal produce, where possible, wild garlic risotto is on the menu as I type. Sally who is front of house, is extremely warm and welcoming, has the log fire blazing when needed, fresh flowers, candles lit in quirky bottles and she knows how to make my favourite drink of the moment, Hendricks gin and cucumber!
I use it to recharge my batteries after a busy weekend catering and entertaining at our site and I hope that all that come and stay at The Oxford Yurt may do the same.
They also have 7 guests rooms newly built, providing a Bed and Breakfast service for those in your party that might not wish to partake in the more informal sleeping arrangements our ‘tents’ provide.
