Thank you so so so much! When I arrived on Friday evening and was unblind-folded, that first glimpse of the evening sun shimmering through the tall grass and beautiful tipis silhouetted against the sky, I felt like I had 'died and gone to heaven.'

What a perfect setting to have the most loved up, girly, pretty weekend of my life. You guys have clearly put so much passion and care into creating this space and you can feel it all around. You've started off something brilliant which we will carry through with us to the weekend of the wedding at the end of August.

Having my hen weekend at the Oxford Yurt Company in September was an absolute stroke of genius on the part of my four bridesmaids. I literally had the best weekend ever - more fun than I knew was possible to cram into a weekend!

I had dropped a few hints that I didn't want a typical tacky weekend and that I thought 'glamping' would be fun - I really just wanted to have some good times with all my girlfriends in one place, as we don't get together very often - and as I don't like clubbing it seemed like a good option.

Well, when I arrived at the Tipi Village and saw our Yurt it exceeded all expectations! I loved the yurt's interior and decor with the lanterns and boho chic furnishings. The whole set up was truly unique and had a real 'Wow' factor about it - the perfect setting for a girlie weekend. Plus it had all the mod cons us girls need, including hot showers, clean toilets, plug sockets and a separate kitchen hut.

All my hens absolutely loved the place and were really impressed that the whole weekend was so different - it was great all sleeping in the yurt together and having the whole field and area to ourselves. The activities that were planned were fab - several BBQs and a lot of party games, a Bollywood dance class out on the grass, a cream tea in the lovely kitchenette and an Arabian Nights themed Moroccan feast complete with Aladdin-style fancy dress.

Sarah was the perfect hostess - arranging the Bollywood class with the lovely Gita, preparing our afternoon tea and cooking up a Moroccan feast - whilst at the same time letting us get on with things ourselves.

I had the best ever hen weekend - it is a weekend I will always remember... simply perfect.

Huge thank you to Sarah, Gita and everyone else who made it so memorable and wonderful. I would recommend it to ANYONE looking for a fun hen weekend, glamping or just a weekend get togethr.

I organised a friend’s hen weekend at The Oxford Yurt and we all had a fantastic time. Entering the yurt is a bit like going into a magical world and it really feels like yours for the weekend which is so much nicer than booking into a hotel. When the sun has gone down the atmosphere created with the roaring fire and lanterns is a gorgeous, chilled space to share with your best mates.

We enjoyed a Bollywood dancing class and wine tasting session on our weekend which were both great fun and really added a sense of occasion to the event.

Sarah was extremely accommodating both in the run-up to the weekend and the weekend itself – she was so helpful and worked really hard to ensure we had exactly the right party for our group and our budget. I’d have no hesitation in recommending The Oxford Yurt to other groups. Thanks Sarah!

When I started planning my friends Hen Party I spent hours looking for something unique that would really Wow her, so I was over the moon when I found The Oxford Yurt. It looked like the perfect setting to create a Hen Do to remember.

Sarah really went above and beyond what I asked of her and pulled out all the stops to make sure all my requests were met. She helped me plan the day and made the most amazing food for us all. It meant that I could relax knowing that everyone was going to be catered for. When everyone turned up they couldn't believe how beautiful the yurt was and through out the day everyone kept telling me that they loved it and what a brilliant idea it was.
